YP is a group designed to allow Young Professionals (21 Plus years of age) an outlet to promote business and network socially.

With the general age in the area being somewhat higher (retirement age), it seemed that at any events our members went to all they could see was a sea of grey hair.

YP formed one day back in 2002 at TGI Fridays. Dan Sinclair formed the organization on March 28th, 2002. YP started with 22 people, and has quickly grown to over 800 paid members and chapters all over the country.

Dan Sinclair founded this organization in March 2002. In November of 2003, he began separating the larger group into smaller chapters, beginning with the Naples chapter. The Lee County / Fort Myers chapter was incorporated in 2004 as Young Professionals, Inc. It has continued to grow at a strong pace since its inception. However, during the last three years the organization's growth rate has increased to a more rapid pace and truly become a chamber of commerce.
